Partly on asphalt road but mostly dirt. Three levels of climb. Beautiful views. Occasipnally some dirt bikes but are respectful. Great work out for horse and rider.

Nice out and back trail. Single track trail. Equestrian and hickers only. 3 bridges. In the trees. Parking for horse trailers in the campground. You have to ride about 1 mile on a dirt road that bikes use to get to the trail head.
It is a nice trail I don't recommend this for green horses because there is buggies and biks and sit in bikes. So after the bridge we also go down into the river and have a slashing good time! Lol (the trail is future but we got tired lol.

Hitchcock Woods perimeter trail.
Scoot boots needed, some single track then wider trail - we stopped before the very steep climb to top. Have done that before and it keeps going for quite a while. Also, mosquitoes are BAD at Appleatchee, fly spray you and horse!

Yes! You can add a trail from any ride you track using the Equilab app. To so, simply download the app, create an account, then record your ride on the trial.
Note that to create a trail, the ride must be at least 0.6 miles long, have taken at least 5 minutes, and must not have been tracked within an arena.
